M2.CARE CONTEXT LINKING
Care Context Linking.
Link patient health records to their ABHA identity through care contexts: logical groupings of clinical encounters.
What is a Care Context?
A care context is a logical grouping of health records from one clinical encounter. Each provider creates them differently:
- Hospitals - one per visit or admission
- Labs - one per test or panel
- Clinics - one per consultation or prescription
Linking Flow
The linking process depends on whether health data is already stored on your platform or needs to be fetched from the HIP at a later time.
